Garlic croutons 


Croutons are small cubes of bread that are prepared in a pan or oven. In preparation you can use olive oil or butter.
Croutons can be used as an additive to salads, cream soup or as a snack.
With this recipe I will give your a healthy technology for making croutons, baking them in the oven with olive oil and garlic. These croutons I use for my Ceasers salad.

Today you can find ready-made croutons in the supermarket, but I advise you not to take them, they can not be compared to homemade ones, so take some time to prepare them yourself. You can prepare croutons in large quantity and store them in a dark, dry place and use for other dishes or just eat them as an appetizer for beer while watching TV.

1 baguette
1 clove garlic
5 tablespoons - Olive Oil

Preheat the oven to 200 C. Cut baguette into cubes of size 1,5 by 1,5 inches, put them in a bowl, sprinkle with salt, olive oil and crushed garlic and mix well ingredients.
In baking dish put baking paper and spread evenly baguette cubes. Bake for 18 - 22min. (Depending on oven) until croutons get golden brown color.
